Lawrence Rom (Founder)

Lawrence is the founder of LRP Advisory, and an experienced commercial real estate professional with expertise across multiple asset classes. With approximately 10 years of real estate industry experience, Lawrence has spent time specialising in corporate valuations, capital transactions, property investments and funds management, focusing in the value-add and core-plus sector.

Lawrence has held various roles at Colliers International, including Sydney & New York based positions, specialising in commercial, industrial and retail valuations & advisory services over eight years. Following this, he transitioned into the direct investment side of real estate joining Centennial Property Group within the Industrial & Logistics transactions & investment team. His key responsibilities included (albeit not limited to) reviewing & transacting on industrial & commercial properties nationally, with a key focus on Value-Add; Core; & Core Plus assets.

Lawrence studied a Bachelor of Property Economic at UTS, Sydney, gaining a strong passion for the fundamentals of the industry and real estate cycle. Part of his education, he was accepted at Aarhus Business School in Denmark to study a semester abroad. In recent years, he completed Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) online course covering Commercial Real Estate Analysis & Investment.

He is a qualified commercial valuer and have obtained professional membership status with both the Australian Property Institute (API) and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Life outside of work includes socialising with friends and exercising; with hobbies such as running, tennis, surfing and playing competitive football.
